Step aboard and discover the magic of the holiday season on the Santa Express Train. This festive 60-minute journey through New Hampshire’s winter woods features Christmas music, twinkling decorations, chocolate chip cookies, cheerful elves, and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. It’s a holiday tradition families will remember for years to come.

As the train winds along the Pemigewasset River, excitement builds for the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children can share their Christmas wishes, families can capture special memories, and everyone can enjoy the warmth and wonder of the season together.

  • These magical 60-minute train rides are available in Premier, First-Class and Coach options on:

  • Saturdays – 2 trains – 12pm & 2pm 

  • Sundays – 2 trains – 11am & 1pm

  • Friday 11/28 – 2 trains – 12pm & 2pm 

  • Monday 12/22 – 2 trains – 11am & 1pm

Santa trains start 11/27 and end 12/20. 

 
AVAILABLE PRICING OPTIONS INCLUDE:
  • PREMIER: Hop aboard the 103 (determination) car and receive a Novelty Bell from Santa and a wrist band for first access to photos with the big man himself.  
     
  • FIRST CLASS: Join us in the First- Class car for a comfortable table seat and a novelty bell from Santa.
     
  • COACH: A ride in our coach car includes bench seating.

Covid 19 Update

Regrettably, due to rising COVID-19 numbers in the State of New Hampshire, and out of an abundance of caution, the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Railway has made the hard decision to cancel our remaining train rides for the 2020 season. All passengers who have purchased tickets will be contacted over the course of the next several days and will have the option of a full refund, or credit toward future excursions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.
