Lincoln Rail Bikes are motor-assisted, helping make pedaling easier. The standard excursion travels nearly 10 miles over approximately two hours, following the river and winding through the forests of the White Mountains. A limited number of shorter, 80-minute Zip Trips are also offered on select dates.

Laconia Rail Bikes are not motor-assisted, so guests provide the pedaling power. This five-mile, approximately two-hour Lakes Region experience is mostly flat and includes a longer mid-ride break along the lake.

Both offer unique ways to experience New Hampshire by rail.

If a waitlist is available for a sold-out excursion, we encourage you to join it. Availability can change as reservations are updated, but joining the waitlist does not guarantee a seat.

Covid 19 Update

Regrettably, due to rising COVID-19 numbers in the State of New Hampshire, and out of an abundance of caution, the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Railway has made the hard decision to cancel our remaining train rides for the 2020 season. All passengers who have purchased tickets will be contacted over the course of the next several days and will have the option of a full refund, or credit toward future excursions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.
